What is Biddor?

Biddor.com is a penny auction site that allows its customers to win popular electronics, gadgets, and more at bargain prices! Each day, Biddor offers brand new (not refurbished!) items that start at only $.01, and only increase by $.01 for every new bid that is placed! This is how we offer such low prices for the items that you can win every day!

How do I Bid on an auction?

To bid on an auction, you purchase bids ahead of time and compete with others that also have bids until the last bidder is left at the end of the auction. You are given 5 FREE bids when you sign up to test out the bidding process and get the hang of it before purchasing a pack of bids. These free bids could potentially lead to a won auction as well! Each bid you place also increases the closing time by 30 seconds, making for an intense and fast-paced auction at the end!

How do Bid Butlers work?

Bid Butlers work for you! Instead of having to sit and watch an auction for the entire time, you can schedule a Bid Butler to do your bidding for you! You can set a minimum price that the Bid Buddy will start at, as well as a highest price you would like the Bid Butler to stop at. You also set the number of bids you would like your Bid Butler to use, thus giving you a competitive edge if you ever need to leave!

How do I buy Bids?

To buy bids, we use PayPal as our backend processor for credit card payments. You do NOT need a PayPal account in order to purchase bids from Biddor! PayPal has been chosen because it is one of the most secure processors out there, and is trusted by millions of people worldwide to do business with. If you are located somewhere that USD ($) is not your currency, you can still use PayPal and it will convert your payment automatically. Once signed up, you can login to your account and click the "Buy Bids" link. From here, you can choose a bid package to purchase, and continue through PayPal's system back to ours where you will instantly be credited with your bids. We have also added the option on the right side of most of our pages to quickly choose a Bid Package and have those credited.

How can I tell who I'm bidding against?

At any given time, there may be more than 1 person bidding on a particular item. To see who you are up against, you can view the "Bidding History" on each product and see the past 10 bids and who they are from.

Where can I see how many Bids I have left?

Once logged in to your account, your Dashboard will show you how many bids you have left in the middle of the page. You can also view how many bids you have left in any auction that you are in!

Auctions:

What happens after I win an auction?

After successfully winning an auction, you will need to make sure that your shipping and billing addresses are both input into your Dashboard and account pages. Once these have been filled in, you can pay for your auction (as well as any shipping that may incur for certain items), and we will ship the item(s) out to you within 14 days.

When do auctions end?

Auctions end when the countdown timer reaches 0. Once the timer hits 0, the last bidder on that auctioned item will be claimed the winner and will be sent a notice via e-mail that he/she has won!

What kind of auctions are there?

Biddor auctions are penny-auctions, in which each bid increases the item's price by only 1 penny ($.01)! This gives you, the potential winner, huge discounts on popular items such as electronics, household accessories, and more!

Shipping/Delivery:

Am I charged for shipping?

In most cases, shipping will be free! Shipping charges will only be incurred for international users (outside of the continental United States), or for very large items. If a shipping charge is ever going to added to the final price, it will be stated on the item's auction page.

Where does Biddor ship to?

Currently, Biddor ships for FREE to residential and business addresses within the Continental United States. We do not ship to P.O. boxes or Military bases at this time. For international shipping, an additional fee will be incurred.

When will my product be shipped?

After successfully winning an auction, we will ship your won item out within 14 days!

Where do the products come from?

Products will either come from Biddor directly, or from other Biddor stores on Amazon.com. This helps us keeps costs down, and bid prices down.

What payment methods do you accept?

Currently, Biddor only accepts payments through PayPal. In the future, if the need arises, we may add additional payment options!

Is the payment process secure?

PayPal is regarded as one of the most secure forms of processing any type of payment. We do not store any credit card information on our servers whatsoever.
